2021 - 2022 Inter School Sports Results
Year 5/6 Quicksticks Hockey
The children took part in the Warrington finals of the tournament. It is the first tournament since COVID lockdown so the children were excited at the prospect of playing face to face sports. The team were super throughout and were unbeaten in the comeptition. They went out in the quarter finals in a penalty shoot out to the eventual winners. Well done to you all!
Year 3/4 Sportshall Athletics
Year 3/4 took part in the Orford cluster Sportshall Athletics competition at BCA. They performed superbly well and came away with second place. This was a fantastic experience and was for all of them, their first competitive experience. Well done!
Year 5/6 Girls Cricket
For the first time ever, we have entered a girls team into a cricket competition. They won 2 and lost 2 games. They were fabulous throughout and have now qualified for the county finals. Well done!
Year 5/6 Small School Athletics
January saw the children take part in the Warrington Small School sathletics competition at Penketh High School. Children from year 5 and 6 took part in a series of running, jumping and throwing activities. The competition was brilliantly run and the children finished 2nd missing out on top place by 2 points. We are so proud of their efforts. Well done!
Year 3/4 Key Steps Gymnastics
This year we entered both a girls team and a mixed team into the competition. The mixed team had a late illness so were unable to challenge for the medals. The girls came in 3rd place which is the first time our school have medalled in this competition. Finally, we claimed 3rd place in the boys competition. Well done to you all!
Year 5/6 Key Steps Gymnastics
Our year 5/6 team took part in the Warrington key steps gymnastics competition and finished in 3rd place. The children should be commended for their weeks of dedication in preparing for the competition. Well done!
Year 5/6 Cricket
YEar 5/6 boys entered their regional competition and showed great improvement with each game. They won their final game and narrowly lost to the eventual winners on the last ball of the game. They enjoyed the experience immensely.
