Easter Art Opportunities
The children in our school have regular additonal art opportunities throughout the year. In year 1 and 2 the children have been developing their paintbrush control creating palm branch crosses on the front of Easter cards. This also allowed Year 2 to apply the colour mixing skills that they have practiced in their Spring art unit. In Reception, the children have used crayons to create multicoloured cross cards and independently the children have been painting crosses at sunset.

Christmas Art Competition
In December we held our first Christmas art competition. Every child in school was given a simple angel template and asked to use their own creativity and imagination to create a wonderful, individual peice of angel artwork. We had a fantastic response and a winner was chosen from each year group. We shared all of the angels with our school community during our Christmas Carol concert.
