Welcome to St Ann's CE Primary School
At St. Ann’s we are extremely proud of our welcoming and caring environment and we strive to fulfil our school motto - to be a place where “Everyone Matters”.
This is an inclusive and happy school where children have positive attitudes towards their learning and they behave well. The Christian values of respect, perseverance, peace, hope, trust, honesty, forgiveness and reconciliation underpin all that we do. Our staff work hard to ensure that all of our children are valued, feel secure and are inspired to be the best that they can be and achieve the best academically and socially. Our calm, caring learning environment is often commented on by those who visit our school.
We are in the centre of a community and benefit greatly from our good links with St. Ann’s Church. We know our families very well and endeavour to nurture strong relationships with parents, carers, staff, governors, children and the wider community. Our well established school nursery offers places from the term after a child is 2 years old and parents tell us that their children are happy, thrive and make good progress here due to the very experienced and dedicated staff.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection recognised that, "Pupils are proud to be members of their school community." "In lessons, they listen respectfully to their teachers and to each other." "The school has high expectations of pupils' achievement, including that of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)" "They enjoy their learning and achieve well." Ofsted, July 2024
Thankyou for visiting our website, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and invite prospective families to contact us and arrange a tour of our friendly school.
